Remember the pool incident?

I was just thinking today about that mom who I had the pool incident with.  I thought those of you who weren't here and didn't get to hear about what happened. I can't let my bloggy friends stay out of the loop forever. If you missed the pool incident, here is the link. Remember to come back. "What the 'Fat Lady' Has to Say About Parenting"

It is no secret that I blog. A lot of the people I know are aware that I blog and have the address so they can read it if they so desire. In fact, I did have someone burst out one day with "I am NOT born organized!" (She totally is, btw, born organized people always say that.)

I am fairly sure that what I wrote got straight back to that mom. I was fairly sure when I wrote it that it would be brought to her attention eventually. I have not seen her since then and I probably won't again as she and I are no longer in any of the same mom's groups. And that is totally okay. Especially because it was a rinse and repeat of her pool behavior that partially led to that happening.

I will say that I found out later that she had a playdate at her house where she randomly burst out with "I HATE fat People!" My first thought? Erin was right! Her son was pointing at me because it was something a parent said. That allowed me to have distance from it.

But I am ready to react to what she meant by that statement.

I have been working hard on my fitness level. I have become to expect a certain level of respect from other people when it comes to what I am eating and what I am doing with my body. And if they don't give me that level of respect? Screw them. I work hard.

Sometimes I fail at my ambitions and end of with a one pound bag of M&Ms. But I no longer wallow in guilt over that or my other failings. I'm not perfect and I never will be. I just keep working on it. I try to sandwich M&M, uh, meals, with healthy meals. I am doing okay. Especially considering that my fitness goals must also balance with my work and deployment goals.

So I really wanted to share with ya'll what had happened with that.
