Paul sprained his ankle over in the sandbox, meanwhile Allison is over packing her calendar and staying enormously busy. Ignoring her check engine light for a week led to a car breakdown halfway to a book show.
Allison sees someone she knows while in the parking lot waiting on the tow truck. With the car hood open, she waves at them and they turn their head away.... to be continued....
After getting a jump, Allison drops her car off at the mechanic's, only to realise seconds after dropping the car keys into the overnight box that she forgot to get the house keys out of the car.
After walking with toddler the 0.4 mile home, Allison calls pop a lock and gets them to open her doors.
Pop a lock finds her house nearly impenetrable, but after an hour of work, finally manage to get a door open.
...least I got my money's worth.

ReplyDeleteOh good lord -- what a day. There is definitely that two-edged sword thing going on with staying super busy during deployments. Hoping today is better. *hugs*
